PhocusBoard (the “app”) is provided by Phactum Softwareentwicklung GmbH and is intended for use within Atlassian Jira. PhocusBoard is currently offered in a beta release. Functionality may change as the product is developed; we recommend testing the app in a non‑production environment and evaluating its suitability before wide deployment. The app is currently provided free of charge; pricing may change in the future. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users and to keeping our data practices transparent.
The app only accesses and processes data it requires. This may include:
- Jira issue data (e.g., issue keys, summaries, descriptions, statuses)
- Jira project and configuration metadata
- Atlassian account identifiers (accountId)
- User-generated configuration data
- App-generated logs for diagnostics and support
The app does neither collect, store nor transmit user related data.
The app may collect usage data, which is non-personally identifiable, solely for the purpose of improving its user experience and functionality and will not include information related to project or personal data.
The app does not share any data with third parties.
This app only processes and accesses data which is relevant to the app’s features and requirements. The data collected will not be used for commercial purposes.
The app operates primarily within the Jira environment and leverages Atlassian’s security infrastructure. The absence of permanent external storage or transmission reduces the risk of data breaches. The app requests only the permissions required for its functionality; these permissions are necessary for correct operation and are validated during development (for example, by Jira/Forge linting).
In the end, the app only processes data which is provided by the data owner, the customer. We will only use it to maintain a functioning app.
This privacy policy may change in the future due to a change in our internal practices or due to other operational causes. If such a change should happen, users and customers will be notified of any such significant changes within our privacy policy through the use of Jira notifications or through other appropriate means.
